S. D. Farrow
S. D. Farrow is a Yorkshire based fantasy author whose work reclaims familiar fairy tales and retells them through voices often left unheard. His debut novel "Gothel" marks the beginning of a body of work devoted to justice, acceptance, and the enduring power of love, even in worlds shaped by betrayal, grief, and ruin.Inspired by the darker currents beneath traditional folklore, including the versions recorded by the Brothers Grimm, S. D. Farrow writes stories that honour the ache at the heart of myth while allowing space for healing. His characters are often fractured, his worlds bruised by power and history, but within them burns the quiet insistence that life can be rebuilt.When not writing, he walks his dogs beneath the wide Yorkshire skies and collects pieces of childhood magic, particularly those shaped by Disney, believing that wonder, once planted, never truly leaves us.
